The position

Reporting to the Executive Child, Youth and Family Services, this position will be responsible for providing quality services to our Clients as well as coaching and mentoring the CYFS team within the East Metro and Kimberley teams, ensuring that the company’s values are upheld, and championing changes required organisationally to drive stronger performance.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Providing strong team leadership to the CYFS team
  • Providing clear and professional reporting as required
  • Coordinating the teams budget and forward planning for future budgetary requirements
  • Managing a case load of clients, providing high quality counselling and support services

About You

Minimum qualifications:

  • Tertiary Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work
  • Accreditation with a relevant Australian professional association
  • National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months), Working With Children Check, Current Drivers License, Current First Aid Certificate & Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate

Preferred experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years counselling experience working with both youth and adults
  • Demonstrated experience in a mental health leadership role
  • Experience leading teams remotely (via online platforms) highly desirable
