  • Aboriginal Community Worker – Cranebrook location
  • Temp Maternity Leave Contract >12 months
  • Commence immediately – through to July/August 2023
  • 35 hours/week Monday – Friday
  • Aboriginal Community Centre located at Cranebrook (please note: this is NOT a Work From Home position)
  • Grade 4 SCHADS Award $40.75 – $43.85 per hour – dependent on experience
  • Above Award Conditions + super + salary packaging


This is a fantastic position for an experienced Aboriginal community worker to work close to home, with your own community, immersed in cultural activities and making a real difference in people’s lives.

It’s an established role, so you’ll be stepping straight into a full program of diverse activities from Aboriginal Womens Groups, to Deadly Kids Dance group, and working with our brilliant cultural facilitators to build our existing programs, and come up with new activities to meet community needs. 

You’ll be experienced working with clients individually. Being located in a busy Aboriginal family centre – there are a lot of walk-in and phone-in supports to keep you busy.

With your 2 years’ experience in any area of human services, but with demonstrated experience and skills working with Aboriginal communities, this is a fantastic opportunity to work close to home, with the community you love.

You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team. 

Drivers License and Own Vehicle essential.
