A bit about the role…
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to broaden your professional skills whilst providing evidence-based health services across the scope of BUSY Health. You will be working across the Gold Coast Region at our multiple BUSY locations.
Being a behaviour support Practitioner involves working with people and their support networks to help advocate behaviour change. So, how do we do this? Building the relationship between a person’s environment and their behaviour, and then influencing that person’s environment so that it sets them up for success. You will also support the skill development of the persons, to ensure people have effective ways to action their needs.
You will meet with clients, conduct assessments, analyse behavioural data, develop strategies and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs), support implementation of those strategies and plans, monitor progress, and review where necessary.

A bit about you…
- You are an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner preferably with 2 years experience
- You are registered with the NDIS as a suitable Behaviour Support Practitioner
- You have relevant undergraduate qualifications (e.g. Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist)
- Current NDIS endorsement (NDIS Worker Screening)
- A good sense of humour and willingness to participate in our regular trivia is a must
