We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Health Clinician to join our service located in Wyong.  This is an opportunity to apply your communication, management and planning skills to a role that has impact and meaning for the local community.

A successful candidate will bring excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and a compassionate sense of care along with their well-established clinical skills.

What you’ll be doing

The Health Clinician supports the Senior Health Clinician in operationalizing the Health components which directs, plans and manages the portfolio to ensure the effective and efficient provision of an integrated high quality, youth friendly service to young people aged 5-18 and their families.  This is a collaborative role that is on the frontline of protecting the community.

  • The service provides assertive outreach and intensive case management, specifically aimed at engaging young people aged 5 – 18 years experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems/disorders. 
  • To provide professional clinical services to young people and their families. 
  • You will provide evidence based individual therapy with a recovery focus. 
  • To ensure families and carers have input into assessments, care plans and reviews where appropriate. 
  • You will need to liaise with relevant agencies and actively participate in case conferences and team meetings concerning the care of young people and support families. 
  • To consult with team members and staff from other agencies regarding the care and management of clients.

  • Social Worker Level 3 
  • Welfare Officer Level 3 
  • Counsellor Level 3 
  • Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2
