This position will be a tenure appointment for a period of three years, as part of the University’s implementation of it’s Student Safety and Wellbeing Plan.
The Case Manager, Student Safety and Wellbeing works across the University to support students’ capacity to participate in their education, by providing case management across a number of issues that can impact on their safety and wellbeing including responding to sexual assault and sexual harassment disclosures.
The incumbent provides specialist individual case management support for students presenting with a variety of issues including mental health, trauma, grief and loss, substance misuse, relationships, housing and financial concerns. The incumbent also provides information and guidance to students, develops and delivers workshops, and links and refers students to available support and resources, both internally and externally to the University.
This role is responsible for the provision of high quality case coordination and referral to ensure safe, accessible, confidential and timely responses across ANU, with a focus on improved outcomes for students and staff at ANU. The Case Manager Student Safety and Wellbeing will also play a role in the University’s response to critical incidents as determined by the Critical Incident Policy.
