JOB DESCRIPTION

Community Drug Service Worker | Kimberley region

We are recruiting Alcohol and Drug Service workers to provide support and mental health services in the Kimberley region. You must be an experienced mental health clinician with demonstrated experience in a social, behavioural or health related field. Also, demonstrated leadership, service development and supervisory skills.

Salary: $60-$80 per hour + Superannuation

Contract: 3-6 months negotiable

Accommodation and travel: included

Essential requirements:

  • Pursuant to Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunities Act, the occupant of this position must be of Aboriginal descent.
  • Demonstrated experience in a social, behavioural or health related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership, service development and supervisory skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the comprehensive management and counselling of individuals, families & communities with alcohol and drug related issues
  • Current C Class drivers’ licence and the ability and willingness to travel independently throughout the region in four-wheel drive vehicles and small aircrafts, and with overnight stays away from home.
  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
