Joining a values-driven, supportive and inclusive team, you will:
- Provide culturally appropriate and flexible early intervention family support strategies, techniques, skill development, assistance and information to Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) individuals and families, including those who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Assist individuals and families to put into practice strategies of parenting and household skills they have learned through the BRIDGE program.
- Provide early intervention focused services, supporting families to strengthen the care and protection of children living at home and increase safety.
- Contribute to the planning and provision of community education, groups, and support in accordance with program and Centacare requirements.
- Maintain appropriate files and records, data entry for case management database and complete other required documentation within agency guidelines.
- To participate and support Centacare to engage in culturally appropriate events and activities.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with community, government and non-government services.
- Ensure all duties and functions of the role are carried out within a continuous improvement framework.
- Participate and contribute to line management meetings, professional development, supervision, team meetings, and staff days as required.
- Commitment to the mission and procedures of Centacare NQ, including organisational goals.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant Tertiary level qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications(s) and/or experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role using strength-based framework in early intervention family support.
- Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and societies and the issues that impact upon them in contemporary society and/or experience working with CALD people.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in conducting safety and risk assessments with vulnerable families.
- A current Driver Licence.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain both an NDIS worker screening and a Working with Children Blue Card.
