They are currently implementing a new family violence program and are searching for a Men’s Practice Lead to join their team based in Western Melbourne (Werribee).


About the role

Reporting to the Manager of Counselling, this is a senior position where you will provide expert practice advise and practice leadership to the workforce, in relation to complex family violence cases and perpetrator interventions.

  • Provide specialist secondary case consultation and technical input on complex family violence cases and perpetrator interventions
  • Lead, develop and mentor Team Leaders and Practitioners
  • Liaise with and provide specialist or secondary consultation to organisations and services within the network
  • When required, manage a small caseload of complex and/or sensitive family violence cases

About you

You will have demonstrated experience working with perpetrators of family violence in a community and/or justice system setting along with.

  • Degree qualification relevant qualification(s) in social work, welfare, psychology or a related discipline is essential
  • Additional qualifications in Men’s Family Violence
  • A Working with Children Check and the ability and willingness to undertake a National Police Check
