JOB DESCRIPTION

Amity Health, a well-respected and dynamic not for profit health provider to regional WA, is seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician for 4 days a week for the Integrated Primary Mental Health Care program in the Great Southern with office in Albany for a limited term until 30th June 2023 (with the prospect for further employment). 

The Mental Health Clinician will be required to provide a range of counselling and support services to clients with low to moderate mental health issues. These services may be delivered via telehealth, individual and group-based sessions where appropriate. Close liaison with general practice, WACHS and other health agencies to ensure an integrated treatment model for clients is integral to this role. 

The successful candidate will be well-supported by Amity Health’s Mental Health Coordinator to deliver this innovative service. This position would be suited to experienced mental health practitioners with mental health nursing or allied health qualifications.
