Matilda Nepean Private Hospital opened in February 2023, this new 90-bed sub-acute flagship hospital is nestled in a world-class medical hub at the base of the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney, adjacent to Nepean Public Hospital.
Matilda Nepean Private Hospital is looking for experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Counsellors to join our rapidly growing Mental Health Team.
- Permanent Part Time positions
- Monday – Friday 10am-2:30pm
- Facilitating group based therapy programs
Essential Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor or diploma in Counselling.
- Has experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature
- Experience faciliating group based programs to Adult Mental Health clients
- Experience working in a private hospital (highly desirable)
