Urzi Psychology is looking for a positive, energetic and caring Mental Health Support Worker to join our team.
We are looking for the perfect candidate based on the Gold Coast. Experience preferred however, not essential
About the Role:
This role of the support worker is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting Urzi Psychology’s clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes;
- Providing support in day-to-day living, ensuring that they have maximum opportunity for developing valued and valuing lifestyles.
- Providing opportunities for choice and control and participation in matters relating to the home, as well as facilitating access to community services and facilities
- Carrying out and promoting positive routines /duties/activities in a cooperative respectful and flexible manner, which are meaningful and purposeful to the participant
- Facilitate community inclusion and participation to establish and maintain relationship and interests through access to community activities, venues and services
You will need:
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Screening Card
- COVID Vaccination Certicate
