The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced provisional psychologist, who shares our values to join our amazing team, in a full-time employed role. The role includes working with a range of clients with mental health, social, emotional, and behavioural presentations. We work with key stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Provisional Psychologists at Engage Psychology
Provisional psychologists are supported through our 3Pi Program. The ‘Provisional Psychologist Pathway internship’ (3Pi) program provides focussed support to provisional psychologists during their internship to meet the competencies for general registration. Our program includes a supervision package worth $8500 for principal and secondary supervision, access to the 3Pi consult group for ongoing practical training and support, in addition to our case consult and assessment consult groups.
The 3Pi program also support supports new psychologists through the registration pathway through our dedicated “Provisional Psychologist” case consultation group. Fortnightly sessions cover knowledge on core competencies, support with developing therapeutic intervention skills, and access to dedicated individual supervision for psychological assessment.
Are you interested in psychological assessment??
Several of our team have a keen interest in assessment from various areas including neuropsychological, forensic, developmental, and other areas. We have an extensive test library for you to explore and practice with, in addition to a dedicated case consultation group for psychological assessment chaired by a Clinical Neuropsychologist.
Clinical Growth
We are passionate about supporting the team to grow in their areas of interest and to foster this, the role includes one day per week set aside for space to be able to case plan, formulate, and research areas of interest. We have an outstanding administration team, who are available for support so that you can focus on the clinical work.
While we are looking for a candidate who is a “good fit”, we also love to innovate and draw on the ideas of new team members to collaborate and continue to create culture.
