We are gearing up for a once in a generation change in the way support is provided to people living with epilepsy in Australia.  There has never been a more exciting time to join our team.

Internally known as a Comprehensive Support Worker this role is offered on a fixed-term full-time basis through to the end of June 2023 (with possiblity of extension).  

You will be the powerhouse of the Living Well Team in achieving our impact statement of an individual understood and supported to live well.  The role provides information, education and psycho-social supports to people living with epilepsy, their families and support networks across Queensland.  The role is based in our Brisbane office and support is primarily via phone or video calls, however we also work in major tertiary clinics and opportunities to spend time on the ground in communities across Queensland is part of the role.

Uniquely – the successful candidate for this role will also be involved in coordinating our Australian first Peer Support program for Queensland.  A national project with local impact this is a very exciting opportunity.

Reporting to the Coordinator, Comprehensive Supports, this role offers challenge, opportunity, and the ability to work with a dedicated, talented, and supportive team. Well-developed knowledge of epilepsy is not essential because we can train you on that, but your attitude and willingness will be key to your success.
