At WayAhead, we work every day to educate people throughout New South Wales on mental health and wellbeing and link them to services and resources that improve their mental health. 

Our vision is for a society that understands, values and actively supports the best possible mental health and wellbeing. 

WayAhead works towards better mental health and wellbeing through coordination of several well-known mental health promotion and collaborative programs such as Mental Health Month NSW, Perinatal Depression and Anxiety Awareness Week and WayAhead Workplaces. 

About the Role: 

This role will report directly to the CEO, lead the Program team, and be an integral part of the WayAhead leadership team.  

WayAhead Workplaces is a program that reaches different job sectors and roles to inspire, engage, and share best practice ideas and innovations in workplace wellbeing.  

This role will promote, grow, and lead the WayAhead Workplaces program by bringing organisations together in peer support and providing multiple platforms for access to accurate and up-to-date workplace wellbeing resources. In addition, the role aims to support the growth of the program through building a larger membership base, developing new products and services, and increasing the capacity of existing members through information, resource, and knowledge sharing. 


About You:  

We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual who will actively lead the WayAhead Workplaces brand and program delivery and contribute to the workplace wellbeing sector.  

You have a strong understanding and are passionate about developing, delivering, and advocating workplaces and wellbeing programs, have strong interpersonal skills, and are exceptionally organised. You are also able to travel and work across different States and territories.  

You will need to be comfortable flexibly working, whether from the office, hotels, or at various members’ offices for meetings and forums, and be adaptable to communicate and collaborate with diverse organisations and stakeholders. 


What You’ll Get: 

A permanent full-time position with a competitive salary: 

Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Award Level 6 Pay Point 1 ($96,969.60) plus Super 

Option of Salary Packaging to increase take home pay 

Additional days-off, above the Award Leave, provided at the end of the year. 

Flexible working arrangements such as flexible start/ finish times, generous time-in-lieu arrangements and working from home options. 

A workplace wellbeing program including membership of Uprise Wellbeing and EAP services and regular wellbeing events.
