About Aaron Barton
One of the privileges of my work is walking alongside people as they navigate life’s complexities, face challenges and move toward meaningful change. My counselling approach is person-centred and strengths-based, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy and parts work. I work collaboratively with individuals to develop greater self-understanding, recognise their strengths, and explore practical ways of moving forward. I support people experiencing a range of concerns, including grief and loss, identity and self-exploration, relationship difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem and patterns of people-pleasing or emotional overwhelm. My practice is supported by ongoing clinical supervision and a commitment to reflective practice and continued professional development. I aim to create a respectful and supportive space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward the changes that matter to them.
