Qualified ACSA Clinical Supervisor

About ACE Counselling

ACE counselling is founded on the principle that the client, rather than any single therapeutic theory or modality, should guide the counselling process. A collaborative, person-centred approach is used to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring personal challenges and working towards meaningful and achievable goals. With 15+ years of experience as a Mental Health Nurse across both public and private healthcare settings, extensive expertise has been developed in supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. This clinical background provides a strong foundation for delivering evidence-informed counselling that is both practical and compassionate. The therapeutic relationship focuses on empowering clients to identify strengths, gain insight, and develop effective strategies for overcoming obstacles and making lasting positive changes. Rather than providing predetermined solutions, counselling is a collaborative process that encourages self-awareness, resilience, and confident decision-making. In securing the next generation of Counsellors, I also offer Clinical Supervision. With experience in mental health counselling, and extensive practice across both public and private sectors, I provide supportive, ethical and reflective Clinical Supervision for new and developing Counsellors. My experience includes private practice, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, crisis intervention, mental health nursing and psychotherapy, allowing me to offer practical guidance grounded in real-world clinical experience. My supervision style is collaborative, strengths-based and tailored to the individual practitioner, creating a safe space for reflection, skill development and professional growth. Whether you are transitioning into private practice, navigating complex client presentations or building confidence in your therapeutic approach, I provide structured supervision that promotes ethical practice, resilience and clinical competence while supporting your ongoing professional identity and career development.
