THE ROLE

We are seeking Behaviour Support Practitioner looking to step into a rewarding role that allows you to combine your professional skill and passion for participant care.

At this point in time, we are offering a part-time role with the chance to expand into full time if it is something that you are interested in.

Grevillea Care Services currently has multiple roles available for experienced Disability Support Worker.

You will be supporting NDIS participants across all ages, helping customers and their support networks implement recommendations to improve quality of life and reduce behaviors of concern.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential Requirements

● DHHS Senior Practitioner Behaviour Support NDIS Practitioner Identification Number or is considered provisionally suitable 

● Meet the requirements to work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Commission’s Positive Behaviour Support Capability framework. 

● NDIS Worker Screening Check 

● Working with Children Check and Police Check clearance. 

● 100 points of ID. 

● NDIS Workers Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ 

Desirable

● Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Allied Health field. 

● Current registration with AHPRA or AASW. 

● Previous experience in completing behavioural assessments and developing support plans for NDIS participants. 

● A thorough knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support approaches.
