About the service

Our program allows clients to Kick-start the recovery process with our alcohol and other drugs withdrawal support program. Post withdrawal we can provide ongoing support through the day rehab program or Life Back group support.

 

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, people focussed leader to lead a professional and dedicated team across Caboolture and Sunshine Coast locations.  

 

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for providing clinical and operational management for the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Services teams in Caboolture and Sunshine Coast. 

 

The Team Leader will also support the development and delivery of evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the clinical practice at Caboolture and Sunshine Coast services.

 

This is a full time, ongoing position, working 38 hours per week.

 

About you

Your high level of leadership skills together with exceptional stakeholder management will ensure success in the role.  Additionally, you will also possess the following skills and experience:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or allied health (or similar field)
  • Strong experience providing leadership and mentoring to a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Significant experience working with clients with complex needs, AOD dependencies and/or mental health
  • Extensive knowledge in contemporary evidence based AOD counselling practice, case management and intake and assessment 
  • Experience in developing and facilitating evidence based clinical education programs 
  • Excellent stakeholder consultation skills
  • Mental health nursing background will also be highly regarded.

 

 

The base salary range for this role is $96,962.32 to $101,250.24 per annum.
