Play Therapy SA is just about to turn 5 years old. We have three sites: Gawler, Salisbury and Payneham and have a team of 7.
We have 1-5 days per week available! You choose what works for you.
Qualifications & experience
✨Undergraduate degree in health sciences, teaching, nursing, counselling or a similar degree aligned with the provision of health and developmental services to children
✨Post Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy as a minimum requirement. Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Play Therapy is highly regarded.
**If you are enrolled in a post-graduate Play Therapy course we can still work together while you finish your studies – full training provided.

✨Competent in Information Technology including digital record keeping and clinical scheduling systems
✨A current member of an Australian Play Therapy Association (APPTA, APTA, PTPA etc) or eligible.
Tasks & responsibilities
🔆Conduct Play Therapy to a high, professional standard
🔆Support families to respond to their child’s emotional needs
🔆Liaise with other health professionals and organisations as appropriate
🔆Keep records carefully and to a professional standard
🔆Promote Play Therapy to the broader community
