JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Director of Student Wellbeing plays an integral role in our commitment to a school culture where every student and community member feels welcomed and belongs. Working as part of the Executive Team, and leading the Pastoral Team K to 12, they will partner with us to deliver a strategic approach to wellbeing that allows every child in the school to flourish in their learning and in life.

The Director of Student Wellbeing, through compassionate, creative and capable organisation and leadership proactively drives wellbeing within the school. This includes THRIVE time, our daily wellbeing lesson, which addresses emotional/social learning, study skills and organisation, friendship and relationship building and other key proactive and protective wellbeing topics.

They will be a cultural leader in our wider community, influencing positive relationships and a strong sense of partnership with parents. They will build healthy relationships with staff, students and parents to support student learning. In particular, they will strengthen our sense of school pride and connection, bringing joy into the everyday learning environment.
