Who we are
At EACH, our vision is for a healthy and inclusive community.

Founded on the vision that everyone is entitled to good health, we’re one of the nation’s leading health and community service providers, offering a broad range of services for over 40 years.

Who we’re looking for
We currently have two positions available for experienced Mental Health Clinicians, keen to make a difference to the lives of young people who are part of our BounceBack Dandenong/Kingston program.

Joining a highly collaborative multi-disciplinary team on either a full-time or part-time (0.8) basis, one of these positions is a fixed-term contract until June 2025, with possible extension. The second position is a Maternity Leave cover (also with the potential to be extended).

To succeed in this role, you will be:

  • Qualified as either a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Nurse or Social Worker

  • Experienced in working with young people and their families who present with complex mental health and co-occurring issues

  • Knowledgeable of the mental health treatment sector, with a strong understanding of youth development and the context of youth work

What you’ll be doing
No two days will be the same! BounceBack provides a flexible and goal-directed service, with a focus on understanding and improving the young person’s physical and mental health as well as their functional recovery.

You will be required to:

  • Provide care coordination and evidence-based interventions for young people (aged 12 to 25) who present with complex and chronic mental health issues

  • Complete comprehensive screening and assessment of young people and their families

  • Formulate recovery plans, assess for and complete appropriate referrals

  • Provide support to parents and families of young people within the program as required

You will be providing a combination of centre-based, telehealth and outreach appointments. You will be primarily co-located at Headspace Dandenong, but also have options to work from home and other offices.

Who you’ll be working with
You will join a team of highly experienced and enthusiastic clinicians who are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Reporting to the BounceBack Team Leader, you will also be supported by a broader team of professionals who provide a multi-disciplinary service including other Mental Health Clinicians, AOD Youth Workers, Family Therapists, Carer & Youth Peer Support Workers, and Psychiatry.

EACH is committed to developing our people. At EACH you’ll be supported to be your best.

We provide:

  • Work arrangements that flex to you

  • Engaging, inclusive supportive team

  • Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience

  • Generous Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging of up to $15,900 free income tax per year
