Akkadian Health is a clinician owned organisation and offers a flexible alternative to private practice. We are currently looking for a part-time General Practitioner to join our welcoming and rapidly growing mental health group.
Our rapidly growing mental health group was set up to help our clients to live healthy and enjoyable lives. We achieve this by adopting new models of care and cutting edge digital health technologies from our partner research organisations. We provide psychiatry, psychology and coaching services to 3000+ adult clients each year with different presentations such as anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD and ADHD.
Due to rapid patient demand we are looking for a part time General Practitioner to join our expanding team. We promote a flexible, transparent, and respectful working environment to our clients, staff and partners.
About the job
At Akkadian Health you will work in an innovative clinical setting and hand in hand with a team of mental health professionals. You will have the flexibility and time to adapt your approach to provide important mental health treatment to our clients both in our modern newly fully equipped clinic and via telehealth from the comfort of your own home.
As a consulting doctor you facilitate patient care, complete MHCPs, prescribe and manage adult ADHD and other mental health related medication in collaboration with our psychiatrists. All consults are charged privately. In addition, we provide you with ongoing professional development through regular CME meetings and workshops.
Skills & Experience
- AHPRA registration (FRACGP or FACRRM).
- Ideally RACGP MHST education (but can be provided as part of the role).
