Australian Trauma Support Centre (ATSC) is currently undergoing a period of growth and is seeking an experienced Counsellor to join the team. ATSC provides a holistic approach to trauma healing and support. We take a bigger picture look at a client’s overall well-being including emotional, physical, spiritual, and environmental health, providing a range of services including counselling, trauma-informed yoga and women’s self-defence. 

We are seeking a suitably qualified Counsellor to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic counselling services to a range of clients, including individuals, couples and families. Our primary referrals are for relationship issues, anxiety, depression, victims of crime, grief and loss and disability. We offer services both in the office and by telehealth. 

We provide: 

  • 70/30 fee split paid every week. 
  • Administrative services including taking client calls, booking appointments, rescheduling and cancellations.
  • Billing and payments – client billing, payment, collection, liaison with Medicare, TAC, Workcover and NDIS.
  • Flexible working arrangements, hours/days to suit preference.
  • A fully fitted out practice located in central Bendigo. 
  • An established practice with a good community reputation for quality service provision. 

You provide: 

  • Demonstrated eligibility for the provision of therapeutic services funded under Medicare.
  • A commitment to professional development and adherence to professional supervision requirements is required.
  • Current ABN and professional indemnity insurance
