We are looking for an equally passionate Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist, or Clinical Psychologist to join our Newcastle team. 

Support and professional supervision is offered to complete the necessary requirements to gain full registration and/or build experience. We can consider full time or part time and are happy to explore other flexible work arrangements.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• AHPRA Registration as a registered or provisional psychologist 
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Sound clinical reasoning skills
• Sound knowledge on best practice approaches relevant to clinical service areas.
• Experience with psychological assessments is desirable
• Working with Children and Police Check
• Full vaccination status to work in health

The Role

We have two positions available with our established Newcastle team:

• Registered Psychologist
• Provisional Psychologist (Full Internship / Supervision)

At Thrive we are seeking a Registered Psychologist and also a Provisionally Registered Psychologist to join our Newcastle practice. We can consider full time or part time and also have the flexibility to provide a hybrid role for those that need some respite from the demands of a full-time counselling load. If you are a registered mental health clinician from another discipline we have emerging positions available so please feel free to enquire.

The Provisional Psychologist will be provided with fully funded clinical supervision to support the achievement of full registration.  This is available for both 4 + 2 and 5 +1 registration pathways.

We have positions available in the following locations: Albury; Canberra; Griffith; Coffs Harbour; Griffith; Lismore; Newcastle; Nowra; Sydney; Tamworth; Wagga Wagga; Wollongong and Wyong.
