Ignatius Park College, located in Townsville (NQ), is a catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition catering for boys from Years 7-12. Due to staff movements, retirement, leave and the creation of new positions, the College is currently seeking applicants to fill a number of teaching and middle leadership positions for 2023.

         Careers Counsellor 

The responsibilities of the Career Counsellor include some classroom teaching. They must have a thorough understanding of all current Pathway Programs and professional Career Practitioner duties pertaining to:

• Assisting students prepare for the world of work, linking career and subject choice to independent learning.
• Career Education and advice for the students at the College by providing Higher Education, training and employment options for all students.
• Being cognisant of change and emerging trends in post schooling education and employment.
