MOVE Injury & Disability Support is a national boutique organisation that provides rehabilitation services for workers’ compensation, DVA, Life Insurance and the NDIS. We are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in the Gold Coast, delivering services in WorkCover Queensland, DVA and the NDIS.
You will be responsible for your own case load, working with your clients to build their capacity and independence, prescribe equipment where applicable, researching and negotiating training, vocational counselling and coaching, and supporting them while they job seek.
Our clients are individuals who have sustained physical and / or psychological injuries and your role will be to assess their needs and assist them in maximising their quality of life and independence.

About you:
- Motivated, reliable and trustworthy person
- A passion for health and wellbeing, injury prevention and assisting people recover and return to work
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office is essential
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & problem solving. Please include the word ‘happy’ in your cover letter to demonstrate your attention to detail.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including proven competency in report writing
- Ability to be highly organised, with experience and maturity to manage competing demands
- Ability to work and communicate with diversity
- Police check, current drivers’ licence and reliable car
- Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy, psychology, social work, physiotherapy, and / or rehabilitation counselling with registration with AHPRA, ESSA, or ASORC
- Knowledge and understanding of Workers’ Compensation and injury management
