President Private Hospital offers 47 beds available for both Rehabilitation and Medical services. The Hospital has onsite parking and is close to public transport. This is an exciting opportunity to join our enthusiastic, driven team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Casual/Permanent Part Time 

In this role the candidate will be working closely with the rehabilitation team and supporting discharge planning for all patients. This role offers the perfect work-life balance for a dedicated Social Worker who is passionate about embracing our patient’s welfare and working as part of an innovative and driven inter-disciplinary team.

We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, and skilled Social Worker who values interesting and varied work, and who can contribute to the high standard of holistic care we strive to provide for all of our patients.

The Social Worker will work closely with the Rehabilitation specialists at the hospital and will be involved in a range of tasks including clinical social work support, family conferencing, inter-disciplinary team meetings, best practice implementation, discharge planning and special projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in social work
• Registration: Eligibility for the Membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously 
• Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
• Current National Police Check / Working with Children Check
