We have a team of 160+ employees who support young people and individuals with a disability to increase their independent living skills, form social/community relationships and take part in activities meaningful to them.

About the Role  

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join MADEC as a Team Leader, who will be responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day care and support delivery within an established Supported Independent Living home with complex physical support & clinical care needs. The role will also include staff mentoring and training in best practice methods. 

Existing experience in training, disability and high level physical supports including diabetes management, epilepsy, complex bowel care, stoma care, pressure care, subcutaneous injections, hoisting etc. is highly regarded! 

Full-time hours are available for the right candidate.

What do we need from you?  

  • Qualifications in Nursing 
  • Min. 3 years experience supporting individuals with a disability or in a clinical setting.
  • Certificates in Training & Assessment are highly regarded 
  • A genuine passion for supporting people  
  • A willingness to participate in further education and training  
  • Ability to work autonomously or within a team  
  • An individual that values human rights, community, excellence, trust and empowers people to be their best.  
  • Hold a current Queensland Driver’s Licence (Provisional Licence holders welcome)
