Care Coordinator /Mental Health Clinician, dual role (Psychologist /OT/Social W) Uniting NSW & ACT

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role involves providing care-coordination, and psychological intervention, to young people in an early intervention setting. Young people present with a range of mental health challenges and are able to access support from the headspace program for 2-5 years on average.

  • Psychologist or Social Worker or Occupational Therapist
  • Salary banding to $75,000 + super + Generous salary packaging benefits
  • Full time in Parramatta with some flexibility for WFH working from home

Role Overview:

The average clinician in this role has some experience of either care-coordination, or psychological intervention. This role has a focus on developing the clinician’s capacity to deliver evidence based psychological-intervention, to support young people in being able to navigate mental health, and life, challenges. This role will include diverse training opportunities and clinical supervision.

Clinicians applying for this role are interested in the opportunity to develop their clinical skills and improving their knowledge and familiarity with evidence-based psychological intervention, and are passionate about working with young people.

Essential Criteria:

  • Approved tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and appropriate professional body membership:
    • Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist
    • Social worker (must be eligible for registration with Australian Association of Social Workers)
    • Occupational Therapist
  • Experience with either care-coordination or psychological intervention.
  • Interest in further developing skills delivering evidence based psychological intervention.
  • NSW drivers licence.
