About The Role:

Streetlink Youth Health Service brings with it three decades of history working with vulnerable and disadvantaged young people across Metropolitan Adelaide. Working to support young people via an integrated health response, the service offers AOD support and medical support providing young people a flexible service to support a range of their needs. 

By joining the Streetlink team, you will be joining a multi-disiplinary team committed to the long-term safety and wellbeing of young people within our community. The successful incumbent will bring with them a flexible manner of engagement, including a willingness to engage in assertive outreach to build positive relationships with their clients. Working to support young people towards long-term outcomes in a holistic manner, the AOD Counsellor/Case Manager will provide alcohol and other drug and co-morbidity counselling coupled with case management to ensure their clients are provided a wrap-around service to support them in achieving long-term outcomes. 

About You:

  • Experience working with vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our community, desirably within a therapeutic context
  • Experience managing a busy workload autonomously
  • Experience working with a variety of databases and ensuring records are timely and accurate
  • An ability to engage with a wide range of people, and
  • A current drivers licence.

Vaccination Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in a SA Health/health care setting.

About the Remuneration

This role is remunerated at the Uniting Communities General Staff Agreement, Professional Level 3 – 4 and dependent on previous experience and Qualifications.
