About us

Aspiration Education and Development Clinic (AEDC) is an NDIS registered provider and a tertiary referral clinic that specialises in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, as well as more generalist concerns (Anxiety, Depression, etc). AEDC is part of the National Early Childhood ILC Working Group, dedicated in research and evidence-based early intervention (www.aspirationchildpsychology.com.au).

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1-year early intervention or behaviour therapy experience 
  • Some experience with children on the autism spectrum
  • The ability to work within a team
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • High attention to detail

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Conducting evidence-based early intervention therapy following individual client programs (in-clinic, home, early childhood settings, school)
  • Maintaining client files via accurate data recording and report writing
  • Communicating with clients and relevant stakeholders (e.g., early childhood educators, school staff) in a professional manner within professional limits
  • Reporting clients’ progress and concerns
  • Taking part in and contributing to clients’ quarterly review meetings
  • Liaising with other health professionals e.g., GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists, speech pathologists, OTs

Permanent Hours

  • Two to three days per week (no weekends)
