EAP Clinician (Psychologist / Social Worker) Human Psychology

About us

Since 2007, Human Psychology has grown to become one of Adelaide’s largest and most well regarded providers of psychological services, EAPs and training and development solutions. We are looking for at least one more clinician (Psychologist or Social Worker) to help us meet the huge increase in demand we are experiencing from new EAP contracts.

About the role

HP are looking for expressions of interest from like-minded Clinicians who share our values and vision to help people to think, feel and perform better to undertake primarily Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling. We are passionate about wellbeing and mental health and aim to partner with our client organisations across the spectrum of wellness services from reactive counselling and critical incident management through to delivering workshops and coaching.

We have EAP contracts with SA Health, UniSA, Attorney General’s Department, Department for Education, Department for Child Protection, SAFECOM, Department of Correctional Services, Flinders University, UnitingSA, RFDS, ACHA , City of Unley, Harris Real Estate, City of Charles Sturt and University of Adelaide to name just some of our wellbeing partners.

Skills and experience

The types of skills we are looking for include:

  • Demonstrated brief solutions-focussed intervention skills and desirable experience in critical incident mangement / trauma interventions.
  • Ideally masters-level Psychology qualification plus minimum 3 years’ practice experience for Psychologists and 5 years’ experience for Social Workers.
  • Full AHPRA registration / eligble for ASSW, professional indemnity insurance, police check, WWWC, eligibility for DCSI  clearances, current Driver’s License and Australian residency are required.
