JOB DESCRIPTION

Strong Minds Psychology (SMP) is an established & industry leading private practice, providing support to clients from the Yarra Valley, West Gippsland and beyond since 2010. We are a teaching clinic, so have a variety of team members at various stages of their careers, which builds strong learning & dynamic energy throughout our team. 

Referrals are accepted across the lifespan – for children from the age of 2 years, through childhood & adolescence, & throughout adulthood. We work in a collaborative manner, engaging with carers & parents, educators, & other allied health professionals, from a wide variety of referral sources. We work out of two clinics (Yarra Junction & Warragul), as well as providing community based support (e.g. home, school, kinder, aged care) & offering Telehealth coaching & intervention that can be done in the clinic or Work From Home. 

The team at SMP are striving to develop community hubs to provide multidisciplinary intervention for clients across the lifespan. We are energetic, driven, and dynamic, & are looking for team members who thrive upon creating positive change for others.   • Readiness to work in both our Warragul & Yarra Junction communities (school & clinic days), as well as via Telehealth & community based practice
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • WWCC & Police Check
  • Current Vic Driver’s License & reliable vehicle

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with clients across the lifespan
  • Experience with disability & mental health sectors of psychology
  • Training or experience with Behaviour Support Plans / Functional Behaviour Analysis
