Counsellor IPA Brisbane

JOB DESCRIPTION

IPA have a long-standing history of providing staff to Federal Government Agencies and are currently partnering with our client to recruit a Counsellor in Brisbane. In this role, you will provide clinical services including assessment and referral, evidence-based individual, couple and family counselling.

Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of group programs
  • Maintain high quality and accurate clinical records
  • Facilitate the delivery of counselling services and other programs
  • Liaising with government departments, community health and welfare agencies, and other service providers


Ideally the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Qualifications as a Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA Registration, OR
  • Qualifications as a Social Worker, with AASW Registration (or eligibility)
  • WWCC / Vulnerable People Clearance
  • Australian Citizenship

This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an initial contract term of 12 months and possible extension thereafter. Please click APPLY now!
