In 2019 Hessel Group expanded our community outreach with supports within Allied Health and Behaviour Support services. To support this growth, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team.
About the role:
Work with a range of clients as part of a supportive multi disciplinary team of clinicians. You will contribute to the development, assessment, implementation, monitoring and review of individuals care plans, as well as coach, advise and provide support to the team and carers.

The applicants must hold the below essential criteria:
- Qualifications in a relevant field.
- Current Professional Registration if relevant.
- Current Working with Childrens Check and NDIS Worker checkor willingness to obtain
- Reporting Abuse and Neglect and Applied First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain.
- Driver licence and use of own registered, insured motor vehicle for business purposes
- High degree of professionalism and judgement with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Supports productive relationships with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently and with people at all levels.
- Analytical and report writing skills
- Experience in the delivery of services to individuals with complex needs or a disability in the NDIS sector.
The below desirable criteria will be highly regarded:
- Experience delivering positive behaviour support including developing and implementing interim and comprehensive plans
- Expertise with specific communities eg. ASD, Acquired Brain Injury, Child Protection, Substance misuse, ATSI, CALD and/or Psychosocial Disabilities
