What You Will Be Doing
The Community Mental Health Clinician provides outreach support and assessments for clients of the Emergency Department’s Enhanced MH & AOD Response Service (Crisis Hub). Face-to-face contacts will occur in our Frankston, Mornington and Rosebud community clinics as well as in the client’s home and other community settings; contact may also occur in the form of phone calls and telehealth.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration
• Proven ability in the management of clients with a major mental illness and in the techniques of assessment, crisis intervention, counselling and psychosocial rehabilitation
• Experience in the mental health and/or AOD field
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence
