We are currently seeking a Team Leader, ideally located in Wagga Wagga, Canberra or Albury regions, to join our team on a contract basis until 30 June 2024. RFCS NSW is a flexible employer offering office-based, work from home and hybrid working arrangements.
Our Team Leaders provide support and guidance to Financial Counsellors in the delivery of services to clients using a defined case management approach and, in line with our Service Delivery Model. As a Team Leader your focus will be to coach our Financial Counsellors whilst driving high performance and, monitoring compliance with our Service Delivery Model and other standard practices, that support positive outcomes for our clients.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of people
- Demonstrated experience in operational leadership with the ability to coach and influence geographically dispersed teams and drive high performance
- Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and community engagement strategies
- Previous experience in project and change management
- Strong IT literacy and capability
- Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and report on work, and prioritise to maintain control of multiple tasks whilst working as part of a dispersed team
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence
- Successful completion of a Diploma in Financial Counselling or willingness to undertake – highly desirable
- Strong credit and agricultural operational knowledge – highly desirable
- Highly accomplished knowledge and skills in business planning and financial analysis – highly desirable
- Other relevant qualifications and/or experience

A remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant commensurate with skills and experience. A car may be provided, and travel will be required however, we are a flexible employer, and we are willing discuss individual circumstances. Full time or part time employment will be considered and, there may be an opportunity for employment beyond the initial contract term.
