The Link Youth Health Service Inc (The Link) has been providing health services to Tasmanian young people (12-25 years) for over 30 years. About the position:
The Allied Health Professional will provide evidence based, short term psychological interventions to young people aged 12-25 years, with mild, moderate and in some cases severe mental illness.
The delivery of therapeutic interventions will primarily include face-to-face individual consultations and group therapy sessions with some telephone and telehealth services provided, as required.
The role duties include:
Delivery of a high standard of evidence-based care to clients, including appropriate clinical services across the mental health spectrum
Conducting comprehensive bio/psycho/social assessments and providing interventions to young people aged 12-25 years referred to The Link Youth Health Service’s programs in accordance with organisational policy and procedure
Participating in clinical review meetings, contributing to care plans and participating in planned case conferences with GP’s and other health professionals involved in the clients care as required
Providing written reports to the clients’ referring GP with information regarding assessments undertaken, treatment provided and recommendations for the future management of the client’s health and wellbeing according to organisational policy
Maintaining timely, accurate and current clinical records for clients using electronic clinical record keeping ensuring documentation while adhering to professional and legal standards and organisational policy
