Couples and Family Counsellors – Therapist – Social Work (online) Centre for Emotion Focused Practice

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for experienced Couples Counsellors – Psychotherapist – social workers or mental health nurse (ACA / PACFA or equivalent) to join our established practice – full-time, part-time and over weekends. We have an excellent referral network and are looking to expand our online sessions. 

We will be delighted to hear from practitioners with training in Couples or that work with teenagers and families.

We are looking for exceptional, versatile and dynamic practitioners, who are able to adapt to the needs of their clients, have a passion for treatment and supporting clients’ wellbeing, and that can do the administration required to maintain client records, invoices and keep all critical information up to date. 

We will also accept applications from provisional psychologists gaining full registration in the coming months and experience psychologist and counsellors.

  • Able to work at least two days a week (of your choice)
  • Have a passion for helping others
  • Be an excellent therapist  willing to continuously improve your knowledge and skills
  • Have a collaborative style
  • Demonstrate accurate and timely completion of administration and documentation requirements
  • Want to be part of a great team

Essential criteria:

  • Relevant degree, registration with AHPRA or ACA or PACFA
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Able to claim rebate from health insurance is a plus 

We are also psychologists/ counsellors , so you won’t be dealing with a large corporate organisation that doesn’t understand the ins and outs of our profession. We can structure things in a way that works for you and your lifestyle (e.g. your working hours), whilst also delivering the best outcome to our clients and you.
