The Online Youth Mental Health Clinician will directly support young people using our Moderated Online Social Therapy (MOST) platform to engage with clinical content and other appropriate features within MOST, such as social networking and peer and vocational support. This role is responsible for maintaining weekly contact with MOST users, via messaging, discussions on the online forums, text message or telephone contact.
Reporting to the Senior Clinician – Supervisor, you will:
- Welcome and onboard young people and families to the MOST platform.
- Assist MOST users to effectively engage with clinical content and other appropriate features within MOST, such as social networking, peer and vocational support.
- Maintain weekly contact with MOST users, via messaging, discussions on the online forums, text message or telephone contact.
- Monitor the safety of young people on the platform and respond as required.
What you’ll need
You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
- Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing) and full registration with AHPRA or AASW (or eligibility for).
- An understanding of youth mental health systems and an ability to apply this knowledge to the Orygen Digital context.
- Experience working in clinical settings within the NSW and/or ACT youth mental health system.

This is a part time (0.6-0.8 FTE) contract until 30 June 2023.
