Job Description
A diverse role, working as part of a driven and energetic team of healthcare professionals providing holistic occupational rehabilitation support. Based on your clients individual outcome goals, provide psychological treatment to clients with a range of conditions
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
- Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
- Providing evidence-based psychological interventions
- Applying solutions based, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical skills. Including but not limited to Initial assessments to form a diagnosis, treatment plans, psychosocial barriers to employment and Vocational Assessments for injured workers.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, Social Worker or Rehabilitation Counselling
- Full or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist, eligibility for membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor or Full registration as a Social Worker with AASW is mandatory
- A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits
- A current driver licence and access to their own vehicle
