About the business

Eureka Learning Centre is a provider of early intervention for preschool aged children with autism. We are looking for enthusiastic therapists for our clinics based in Liverpool and Bella Vista. The interventions are based on principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis

We have built a strong and reliable reputation for providing evidence-based intervention programs for children with developmental delays. 

We offer primarily centre-based ABA therapy.

Job tasks and responsibilities

ABA Therapists at Eureka Learning Centre work one-on-one with kids with special needs/ developmental disabilities. 

Primary duties include:

  • Receive extensive to provide behaviour therapy/ Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) – to create lasting change for our kids and their families
  • Work with kids with a focus on activities they naturally do (play!). This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, is excited to learn and develop, and can make learning fun!!
  • Commit to a minimum of 15 hours of sessions per week.
  • Provide a set availability schedule for a 12 month period to ensure consistency for clients.
  • Assist with administrative tasks in clinic as necessary.

Desired skills and experience: 

  • Experience working with children; nanny, childcare, teaching
  • Preference is given to applicants who have completed 20 hours of free Registered Behaviour Technician course linked below – https://autismpartnershipfoundation.org/courses/rbt
  • Be willing to work with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders from age 2 and up.
  • Must be willing to provide mobile services to client’s homes, schools and day cares if needed.
  • Possess Great interpersonal skills and exceptional time management skills
  • Be flexible and dependable with scheduled appointments
  • Be Creative and have Independent thinking skills
  • Current valid Working with Children Check.
  • Completed COVID vaccination.
