The role
The primary purpose of the Student Wellbeing Officer (SWB Officer) is to support the Head of Year and Assistant Head of Year to ensure high quality care is provided to students within the year group. The SWB Officer will assist with the organisation and management of year level activities to support student engagement and to help create a strong sense of belonging. The SWB Officer will provide administrative support to the Head of Year and Assistant Head of Year and play a role in supporting high expectations whilst providing exceptional care for all students.
About you
- Experience in or a desire to support and engage with students within an educational setting
- An understanding of the important role belonging and connection plays in supporting boys’ wellbeing and holistic development
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to be an effective and efficient member of a team
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Current Working with Children Blue Card
- First Aid and CPR certificate (desirable)
- Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent (desirable)
