Psychologist Ramsay Psychology

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ramsay Psychology is a growing national network of community based private practices. We complement our large network of 75 private hospitals across Australia. Clients and medical professionals know and trust the Ramsay name because we have provided mental health support in Australia since 1962. We are excited to announce our brand new clinic space in Ipswich is now open with eight lovely rooms and we are ready to welcome new Psychologists to our growing team!

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have an interest in working with children and adolescents.  Equally, we are interested in supporting clinicians wishing to develop skills working with younger people through our clinical supervision program.

We are also welcoming Psychologists who have an interest working with the adult population and those who wish to diversify their client base.

You may be new to Private Practice and interested in establishing yourself with a group that offers independence and autonomy but also peer support, clinical supervision, and a strong administration and operations team. Alternatively, you may already be established in Private Practice and wish to benefit from joining a large group like Ramsay. With new accreditation standards for Primary and Community Healthcare rolling out soon, now is the time to consider joining a team like us. Our modern clinics are inviting, spacious and equipped to facilitate both face-to-face and telehealth appointments. Our generous service fee covers comprehensive administrative support, clinical supervision, access to a range of resources and marketing support. Our fabulous full time Practice Manager Helena will look after client referrals, triage, patient enquiries, scheduling/appointment bookings, and your billings. We offer flexible work practices to best match your work/life balance and will structure your day and sessions around your availability and clinical preferences.

Why Ramsay Psychology?

  • All-inclusive generous fee schedule including 6-week fee free period to help you get started
  • Focus on your areas of special interest or diversify  your experience with our broad referral base
  • Flexibility to choose the hours you work and on what days
  • Weekly small group supervision with Board Approved Supervisors
  • Fortnightly 1:1 supervision sessions for select Clinical Registrars and early career Psychologists

  • For Clinical Psychologists with leadership/management experience, the opportunity to apply for Practice Principal (employed position) and work closely with our Director of Clinical Quality & Clinician Relationships
  • For Clinical Psychologists who are Board Approved Supervisors, the opportunity to provide regular supervision to our growing team of clinicians across the country while maintaining a case load of clients
  • Media opportunities to promote your expertise
  • Psychometric test materials at no cost to the Psychologist and access to a resource library
  • Referrer confidence, personal brand strength
  • We manage the accreditation process for the new standards in Primary and Community Health Care
  • Opportunity to work across 31 sites nationally and to relocate without changing jobs
  • Capacity to build linkages with research institutions who partner with Ramsay as well as Ramsay’s Private Hospitals
