Intake and Assessment Officer (0.6 FTE)

We deliver innovative and successful high-level rehabilitation services. We are seeking an Intake and Assessment Officer to be the first point of contact for clients accessing our substance abuse services. Duties include assisting clients to complete a comprehensive assessment template, which allows identification of their needs and prioritization of their treatment and referring to the appropriate services.

Degree qualified, you will have experience or an understanding of in substance abuse services or an interest in learning how to provide these. Excellent administrative skills and an empathetic approach to clients is essential. 

A copy of the job and person specification is available on our website www.oars.org.au, the role is Level 4 within the SCHADS Award which is currently $77,584 to $83,479 per annum (pro rata for part time staff). Above Award leave entitlements, which are 22 days annual and 12 days sick leave per annum (pro rata), and salary sacrifice options. 

This role is based at Franklin Street in the CBD.
