THE ROLE
- Support the prevention of children at risk of entering the Care Services system or where reunification to parents is the primary objective.
- Assist parents to ensure the safety, stability and positive healthy development of children.
- Apply evidence-based model to practice when working with families and children at risk of entering the Care Services System.
- Completion of strengths-based risk and needs analysis, assessments and reporting as required.
- To maintain professional boundaries and professional practice within a highly informal approach.

- Salary – SCHADS Award Level 6 | Pro-rata at 0.9EFT based on the full-time rate of $96,900

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE – what you will bring;
- Demonstrated ability to work with families with complex needs in a coordinated and collaborative approach.
- An awareness of the requirements of a child-focused family oriented practice.
- An understanding of trauma and how this impacts children and families.
- Previous experience in related work with the client group, and in particular experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully engage them
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working With Children Check |Police Check
- Minimum requirement of Bachelor or other relevant or appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or experience relevant to this position.
