THE ROLE –
- Conduct participatory engagement sessions in partnership with Gippsland Women’s Health Service, Gippsland Multicultural Service, and the Centre for Multicultural Youth.
- Develop a co-designed best practice model and promote the best practice model to guide capacity building.
- Educate local multicultural services to identify and refer victim survivors.
- Review and redevelop multicultural diversity plans at Quantum and Gippsland Women’s Health Service.
- Create a local Body of Knowledge and embed within staff induction processes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE – what you will bring;
- An understanding of both the social and political issues, and the impacts of family violence.
- Previous experience in related work with the client group, and in particular experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully engage the client group.
- A capacity to work with other service providers in a collaborative manner in terms of direct service delivery, service networking and service development activities.
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver culturally sensitive practices in working with the client group.
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working With Children Check |Police Check
- Minimum Tertiary qualification in Social Work or related field. Refer to PD for more details.
