Prace College is seeking experienced & dedicated Vocational Major & Vocational Pathways teachers to teach across two campuses – Reservoir and Mernda
You will be part of a dynamic team passionate about helping students to achieve their goals through education. The role requires dedicated professionals to maximise student engagement and learning outcomes.

Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor or Education or equivalent (essential)
- Masters in a complimentary discipline such as Special Education, Psychology, Social Work (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or successor; or TAE40110 plus (or including) TAELLN401A / TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 / A / B (essential or willing to get the qualification)
- First aid (desirable)

Selection Criteria
- Understanding of learning theories and delivery styles appropriate to an alternative learning environment, including learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, mental health disorders and substance abuse.
- Extensive experience in developing an engaging and integrated curriculum
- Well-developed skills in teaching, including the ability to select and use a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies appropriate to a diverse learner population.
- Ability to integrate I.C.T. into teaching & learning practices.
- Highly developed administrative & organisational skills.
- Capacity to meet requirements of the relevant accredited courses, VCAA & VRQA school registration and compliance requirements
- Highly developed communication skills that demonstrate a capacity to engage with staff, students, networks and partners.
- Demonstrated ability to complete Quality Assurance documentation
