Registered Behaviour Therapist – Adelaide South Nextt Group Pty Ltd

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) you will be the key front-line team member directly delivering behaviour-analytic services and practice under the direction and supervision of a Behaviour Support Specialist (BSS) who is responsible for all work RBTs perform. The RBT implements high quality Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) sessions in either the centre or in a child’s home, day care or school following our Lizard model. This includes both structured and naturalistic teaching, collecting, recording and graphing all data as advised by the BSS and implementing any Behaviour Intervention Plans. In addition, the RBT attends and actively participates in a client clinic meeting which are attended by the family and clinical team. RBT’s will also be required to attend reviews as required.

Ideally, the successful candidate will:

Follow and implement the procedures in the Lizard Program written by the Behaviour Support Specialist

Demonstrates the ability to relate and play in an appropriate way with children

Takes relevant data on the client’s behaviour and environmental variables

Demonstrates the ability to appropriately accept and action feedback

Provide a set availability schedule for a 12-month period to ensure consistency for clients

Adhere to NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements

Accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, incidents, and plans

Essential Criteria:

The legal right to work in Australia

Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working with Children Check – Employee

Valid Driver’s licence with reliable transport

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Proof of Covid Vaccinations x 3
