Anala is seeking a full time Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the team.

The role
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will provide professional information and strategies to people with disability, families, staff and their networks regarding evidence-based approaches to reducing the impact of challenging behaviour and participants can assimilate into community.
Duties
- Undertake functional behavioural assessments for participants
- Develop Behaviour Intervention Support (BIS) Plans
- Implement and train the participants family and their networks of the identified strategies
- Identify and implement restrictive practices, following the governance surrounding this practice
- Working with people with disabilities and/or complex diagnoses
Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (eg Psychology, Social Work)
- Registered with the NDIS as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (desirable)
- Apply for NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence and Vehicle
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module and New Worker – Induction Module
- Fully vaccinated for Covid-19, as directed by the Public Health Order.
